Complaints
If something here has caused a problem — inaccurate content, a privacy concern, or a bad experience — this is how to raise it.

How to complain
Send it through the contact page with “Complaint” in the subject line. To help us deal with it properly, please include:
- What happened, and the page or tool involved
- The date, roughly
- What outcome you’re looking for
- How to reach you
You can complain anonymously, but we won’t be able to tell you the outcome.
What happens next
- Within 5 working days — we acknowledge that we’ve received it.
- Within 20 working days — we respond with our findings and what we’re doing about it. If it’s complicated and will take longer, we’ll tell you why and give a revised date.
- If we got something wrong — we say so, correct it, and explain what changed.
Repattern is a small independent project, not a company with a complaints department. These are commitments we intend to keep, made in that context.
Content corrections
If an article is factually wrong, tell us and we’ll fix it. Corrections to published content are handled under our Editorial Standards, which explains how we mark changes.
Privacy complaints
For complaints about personal data, see the Privacy Policy first — it may already answer your question, particularly the point that journal entries never leave your device.
If you’re not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to complain to your national data protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk); in the EU it is your member state’s supervisory authority. You do not need our permission to do this.
What we can't handle here
This process is for complaints about the site and its content. It is not a route to clinical support, and we cannot respond quickly enough to help in a crisis. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services — in the US, call or text 988.
